Ara Restaurant in Jupiter brought an unusual brief: a large-scale architectural ceiling fixture that would define the reception and front-of-house experience — but with no light source. This was pure sculptural metalwork, a statement piece that relied on the restaurant's ambient lighting to cast shadows and create depth across its surface.

Bulldog Contracting brought Renaissance a concept that required precision engineering at an architectural scale. The fixture spans over 13 feet and needed to mount flush to a ceiling structure that wasn't designed to carry decorative loads — so Renaissance's engineering team worked backward from the structural constraints, designing a mounting system that distributed weight across multiple attachment points while keeping the hardware invisible from below.

The piece was fabricated as a series of interlocking panels, each hand-finished with a warm patina that shifts in tone depending on the time of day and the restaurant's lighting mood. It's the kind of project that blurs the line between lighting manufacturer and architectural metalwork studio — and that's exactly where Renaissance operates best.
